H.A.V.E Online! TF2 Rip Off

The name of this game is H.A.V.E. Online. It's a PC title, and an open beta is supposed to go down sometime this year. The game looks strangely familiar.

An homage?

Even with the otaku toy twist, the game is a little too close to Team Fortress 2 for some on the Korean internet, where the game is kicking up a mini-controversy. The game is being called "an embarrassment" to the Korean game industry.

H.A.V.E. is currently in beta, and its publisher SK iMedia has not made a comment about the Team Fortress 2 likeness. Check out the trailer comparison shots and wonder to

How on Earth did they think we wouldn't tell the difference between the two?

Here is another video games computer treating people like fools, trying to hoodwink us into thinking that this game is unique and different

SK iMedia will now be added to this year's list, of companies who treat the gaming community with little respect, along with 3D Relams and Valve.

I know rip-off's is common practice in East Asia e.g. cars, Nike trainers, i-phones and the infamous POP Station, (watch the second video for the Half Life reference).







But at least they are fairly honest about doing it.

Hmmm, I dont think its that bad really, I mean yes it a rip off, But Wth its happening more and more these days.. So we must all learn to live with it.. And if you cant then try harder..

That seems an idea but... I like mine better.... If you really dont like it then fine dont play it.. Its simple.. But theres no point in complaining.. Its not gonna solve anythin.
