Robert Culp/Dr. Wallace Breen dies at 79 RobertCulp-DrBreen

The American actor and scriptwriter Robert Culp, who played Dr. Wallace Breen in Half Life 2 and Half Life 2: Episode One, has died at the age of 79. He came to fame in the 1960's in the TV show 'I Spy', Culp played an agent whose cover was a tennis ace, with fellow agent Bill Cosby playing his trainer.

'I Spy' ran from 1965 to 1968. For each of the three seasons he was nominated for an Emmy, but lost each time to Cosby. Culp lent his voice to the character Dr. Breen, the prime antagonist of Half-Life 2. This was not his first video game role, he also appeared in the 1993 game 'Voyeur'. He stared in hundreds of TV shows and films through a career spanning nearly 60 years. More recently, he played the father-in-law in 'Everybody Loves Raymond'.
