Clan Match-up vs [Team Win]

Hey guy, I'm Storm38, leader of the clan [Team Win]. I was recently talking with one of your members "[8U]stio_naz" when he mentioned a possible "clan match-up". Me and my team have been looking for other clans to play. I can offer you an epic, yet challenging match-up. And we are extremely flexible as far as match settings. Dustbowl, Goldrush, 6v6, 16,16, you name it, we'll play it. And we will be more than glad to host it on our server if necessary. Hello, to me you seem nice enough and I think the clan will gladly except your challange, however [8U] is still under "construction" we havent sorted out all the kinks yet. still work to be done on our our server and on this very forum, so at the moment "clan waring" is not our main priority, but if you want add me on Steam "megamasher" and i can try sort somthing out.

Hello all, I've recently spoke to the leader of [Team Win] and we have decided to have a TF2 clan battle in 2 weeks time, ill post more info about the exact date later on, however we need a team, we're looking to have atleast a 12v12 on maps such as dustbowl and goldrush so i'd like anyone thats interested to post here and I'll put you in it, Also post a class you want to play as because we need it organised as quick as we can, try pick something your good at

Thanks for setting this up Jack. Make sure to commandeer any of the admin if you need help with something. We would like a time which suits the Europan and American members, (we also have a guy from Trinidad & Tobago and Canada) of the clan.

I know Motal Man is in Washington State and is about 9 hours behind us. Irving is in Minnesota and Silent Angel is in Chicago so that about 6 hours behind as well. The farther member East to us is AmebA from Italy, so there's isn't a problem there. This shouldn't be a problem at all really, as it seems as Team Win are mainly based in the US anyway.

I'll say that all members who would like to take part must add the clan tag to their username, if they haven't already. If you join the server on the day of the match and they see no tag, then they are more than likely to kick you from their server, thinking you are some random rather than an Eighth Underworld clan member.

My only concern is 2 scout, however I no that those 2 scouts are good at what they do, so ill leave it there, If we could get more people to participate then i would be gratefull, If anyone whos not allready playing, we would like a Heavy and maybe another Pyro.

I've been talking to Storm38 from Team Win this morning and we have finalize the details for 8U's first clan match. They can easily get 16 people for their side, (cos they are quite a big clan). If we can get the same number, (plus a few extra, just in case anyone drops out), that would be great. I think we are up to 14 people at the moment, so we need another 5 or so. I've said to Storm38 that we let him know the exact figure by Tuesday.

Secondary, the match will take place on Thursday 9th July at 8pm UK time. That's 3pm if you live on the US Eastern seaboard, 2pm in you are central US and 12pm if your are the US Western seaboard. Can at least one of the admin please check the times? As British is in BST, (British Summer Time) at the moment, meaning we are one hour ahead of GTM.

Once I've talked to Strom38 again, I let you guys know for sure, but I've got a feeling it will actually be 9pm UK time.

I would advise you all to get onto that server about 20-30 minutes before the match starts, so we are not messing them around and if someone is having connection problems, we have plenty of time getting one of the replacements in.

To stop randomers from joining at that time, there will be a password on the server which is: win

The game will be play in "Tournament Mode" and we will only be playing one map, which will be Goldrush.

ok i like to play Demoman/Spy/Pyro.. but can i change classes during the match or do i have to play one class the whole time??

I normally play as Pyro or Sniper.
