Ryder Cup Masters: It’s back and under a new format.

This bimonthly clan event will be starting again on Sunday 28th August at 8:00pm (UK time) and be will under ETF2L mode. Rather than having the old system of picking players on a first come first serve basis, players for both teams (North America and Europe) will be now picked by an on-line random generator.

This will mean that each Ryder Cup event may have some players playing more than one event per year, but there will a different team line up every time the event takes place.

We will also be hosting this event at the end of October and December. The Regional team with the most wins will then be declared 8U ‘Regional Team of the Year’ for 2010.

8U members only and senior and junior admins are allowed to put their names forward, but no clan/scrim team members are allowed, cos that would be totally pwnage for the North American team.

There will be 11 players and at least 2 backup players per team. The match will of cause take place on our community server (IP:85.23.148.169:27105). Closing date for entries will be Monday 23rd August 8:00pm (UK time). The draw for the team’s selection will happening straight after that time and the team line-ups will be announced on the forum and the Steam group page an hour later.

With having 5 days to prepare for each team, this will give people enough time to nominate team captains and to sort out tactics.

The match will only be on one map, which I’ll pick and announce on the 23rd August, but please leave me suggestions below.

MATCH DETAILS
Please get onto the server 15-20 mins before then. The match will be only take about 30 minutes to do. The map we will be playing CP Badlands and will be under ETF2L rules. It will start at 8:00pm (UK Time), which will be:

12:00am – Pacific (Vancouver, Washington State, Las Vegas, California)

2:00pm – Central (Dallas, Chicago, Mexico City)

3:00pm – Eastern (New York, Washington D.C, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Georgia, Miami, Jamaica)

9:00pm – Europe (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, France, Poland, Spain, Italy)
